The prop I intended to be pictured with—the rest of the staff bullied me into posing with the faux fowl—is my beloved copy of The Devil Wears Prada. Forget donuts. In my mind, bagels are the breakfast pastry that reign supreme, and I’m not ashamed to say that I’m more than a little obsessed with them. Maybe it’s because they’re portable and travel well. Or that they go great with coffee. Or that they’re shaped into a halo of carb-y, starchy amazingness. Even my Klout score says that I’m “influential about bagels”, so you know my obsession is legit. Regardless of the occasion, give me a bagel (preferably blueberry), some cream cheese, and I’ll be a happy, happy girl.
