Don’t let the neutrals wash you out
A person’s wardrobe is a means of personal expression, from a solid button-up and dark-washed jeans to those special-occasion patent leather shoes. This is why I find this new resurgence of color in men’s pants to be so exciting–they add a splash of contrast or color to an outfit.
It’s common–if not expected–to walk into stores like the Gap or Urban Outfitters and spot a selection of multi-colored slacks at your disposal. Stocking up on different colored pants means that each pair can fit any mood or add a little festivity to an outfit.
Whether you sport a vintage pair of yellow ‘70s khakis from dad’s closet or those new red jeans from the Gap, don’t be afraid to be daring with your wardrobe in these coming spring months. Color blocking is the easiest way to step out of your style comfort zone. Let those neutrals, grays, and whites melt away with the winter snow. Make way for color this spring.
