Create your own picture frame photo board
While I’m a big fan of Pinterest, I also spend a lot of time clipping photos, articles, or designs out of my favorite magazines and newspapers. So when I stumbled across this DIY project, I knew it would be a great way to “pin” inspiration around my apartment.
Not only is this picture frame photo board easy to make, but you’ll also be able find all of the supplies you need at your local hardware store for under $15.

You’ll need:
- Large picture frame
- Twine or wire
- Staple gun
- Clothespins
This project is a super fast and easy way to display all of your favorite photos in a creative way. Start by measuring lengths of twine from one end of the frame back to the other. Secure the ends to the frame with a staple gun. Hang on the wall and use clothespins to attach photos to twine.
You don’t have to restrict this project to photos—anything light enough to be hung from twine is fair crafting game. Mix up this project with small, bright decorations, such as faux flowers. Or gather your vacation souvenirs, ticket stubs, and tourist brochures, and pin them up for old time’s sake.
